R. Luki Rahayu Agung (also known as Luki, Luks, or luksluki) is a frontend engineer and systems integration specialist based in Bandung, Indonesia. He is the founder and lead architect of ELCODE (elcode.id), an independent software studio. He has more than six years of experience building public-sector analytical platforms, data visualization systems, and applied AI experiments, including work on the SKALA Program with Kementerian PPN/Bappenas.

Most of my work sits between messy institutional data and the people who have to make decisions with it. That means building interfaces that stay legible when the dataset is large, the network is slow, and the user has fifteen minutes between meetings. It also means owning the integration layer: authentication, API contracts, caching, and the failure paths nobody demos.

I work primarily with React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript, and I spend a growing share of my time on applied AI: retrieval pipelines, structured generation, and the review discipline that keeps generated code safe to ship.

Before writing a line of interface code, I map the core workflow, the data schemas, and the stakeholders' real operational pain points. A beautiful interface built on flawed mental models is useless.

Make complexity usable

Whether it is millions of national survey records or nested regional budget lines, my role is to untangle multi-dimensional complexity into intuitive, step-by-step human workflows.

Build for resilient integration

Digital applications depend on external APIs, legacy systems, and fluctuating network connections. I engineer interfaces that fail gracefully, handle state transitions predictably, and preserve user progress.

Optimize where it matters

Performance is not an afterthought; it dictates usability for users on low-bandwidth laptops. I focus on clean bundle footprints, surgical DOM rendering, and predictable state structures.
